SUMMER 2011 SCHEDULE
Saturday, May 14 Commencement at Times Union Center; reception at St. Rose
Monday, May 16 – Friday, May 20 Vacation – students may go home
Monday, May 23 Summer Session I classes begin
Monday, May 30 Memorial Day – no classes
Friday, June 3 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Graduation party (invitation to follow)
Friday, July 1 Last day of classes for Summer Session I
Tuesday, July 5 – Friday, July 29 Summer II – clubs and recreation
Sat, July 30 – Fri, Aug 5 Freshman and senior trips during this time – 3 to 4 nights
Sunday, Aug 7 – Wed, Aug 10 Room clean up and move to new room
Wednesday, August 10 at 5:00 pm
Wed, Aug 10 – Fri, Aug 19 Seniors move out and freshman go home for the week
Students home; residences closed
Saturday, August 20 Rising seniors move back to new residence
Sunday, August 21 New freshman move in (rising seniors can help!)
Monday, August 22 – Friday, Aug 26 Fall Orientation – all students
Monday, August 29 Fall semester classes start
Monday, September 5 Labor day; no classes
Seniors, please remember that you will need to request time off from your internship or job if you plan on missing work (for example: when you go home on vacation or go on your trip).
