Music Spotlight by Lindsey Renko

The latest hits in the music world are Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Pop, And Rap. Welcome the newest group to our music world- Big Time Rush! They are releasing their album this Sunday.

Miley Cyrus has been getting herself on to the big screen in the theaters’ for her new movie The Last Song. Miley is in the works of filming another movie coming out in 2011.

Kevin, what are your favorite hobbies? “I enjoy playing video games, listening to music and doing artwork of various types.”

What’s your all time favorite movie? “I don’t have an all time favorite, but I guess a couple favorites are the Karate Kid series and Air Force 1.”

What has been your favorite part of the CEP? “I enjoyed meeting New People.”

What is your favorite memory of the CEP? “Getting a paid job!”

What was your favorite St. Rose Event? “Going to Golden Knight basketball games.”

Are you enjoying living in a Supportive Apartment? “Yes definitely, it’s one step closer to independence!”

Are you working now? “Yes at Albany Med.”

Do you have any advice for current or future CEP students? “Yes, try and make friends and never give up!”

Interest Meetings

We have several upcoming interest meetings for prospective students and families.

MSC's, couselors and other professionals are welcome to attend as well!

Interest Meetings are a great time way to receive an overview of the program and to get answers to any questions you might have.

All meetings will take place at 300 Washington Ave Ext. Albany

Seniors-Work/Internship days are Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends.

  • Friday, June 25- Last day of classes for Summer Session I
  • Monday, June 28 – Monday, July 5 No school – students go home
  • Tuesday, July 6- Summer II starts – clubs and recreation
  • Friday, August 13 at 4:00 pm- Seniors move out and freshman go home for the week
  • Saturday, August 21- Freshman (now seniors) move back to new residence
